"Just when you think you have tried every eatery in your area, I was between New Haven and Naugatuck and smack in the middle in Bethany, CT. is the Country Corner Restaurant. WOW I was totally impressed with every thing you could be impressed with in a restaurant somewhat in the middle of nowhere. (no disrespect to Bethany) A gem of a place to enjoy great, fresh food, service second to none with such a great hometown vibe. This is a must stop in and enjoy. I didn't;t get the name of our server but she was one of the best I have ever had. So attentive and could rattle off every special they offered with all meal ingredients and there were many, Super friendly staff and the entire crew was so attentive to all the tables, offering refills on coffee and water, along with asking if you need anything more. The food was terrific, my Son ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich, I mean really how could you go wrong with a sandwich basiclly on French toast, ham, turkey and cheese. YUM YUM. I ordered the fish sandwich, a large piece of fried cod that was perfectly fried. I can't say enough about the experience we had here. Nothing but 5 stars all around."

They make you feel like you’re at home anything you get on the menu is awesome love to sit on the deck on Sunday morning and get some sun, they have music now gonna be the hottest spot in town. "I can't not say enough good things about this diner. I've been here many times for Brunch, breakfast and dinner and every time I have a wonderful visit. The French Dip is to die for!! And reasonably priced too, with a fantastic au jus. Breakfast prices are very good, more like $1-$10 per person. I just went in the morning for some coffee and pastries to go, and they offered to toast my muffin. I thought they'd pop in the microwave like any other place, but no! They sliced it in half buttered it and then toasted the edges. It was sooo delicious! And the customer service is truly phenomenal. Its family owned and run and you can instantly tell. Our waitresses have consistently gone above and beyond for us, celebrating our anniversary with us, treating kids with care and respect and just all around making us feel like we're at home when we're there. I truly feel so lucky to have a family owned diner in town, I think this place is a MUST visit for anyone driving through little old Bethany ☺️"

"We enjoy eating outside on their deck. All the tables have umbrellas. We especially like the country corner omelette. The sausage is excellent. The steak & egg sandwich is also very good. The food is very fresh. The only reason we did not give them 5 stars for this review is because the GF pancakes were rubbery and dry. We appreciate that they offer gluten free bread. It would be nice if there were also gluten free muffins. The staff is very friendly. We recently started going to this restaurant. We enjoy it so much that we've been there multiple times."
